With shortened rebrowned twist octagonal sighted barrel signed on the top flat, gold-lined touch-hole, and silver fore-sight, tang finely engraved with flowers and foliage, detented bevelled lock with roller and third form of signature (cock replaced, bridle incomplete), figured walnut full stock carved with a shell behind the barrel tang, flat-sided butt, engraved iron mounts including trigger-guard with acorn finial and applied spur, set trigger, horn fore-end cap, and original horn-tipped ramrod, London proof marks
