With rebrowned twist octagonal sighted barrel stamped with Irish registration number and signed in full on an inlaid interlaced gold ribbon at the breech (signature rubbed), the breech with gold line and gold-lined touch-hole, tang engraved with flowerheads and rococo ornament, engraved detented bevelled lock with roller, gold oval, and large safety-catch also locking the steel and engraved with flowerheads, figured walnut full stock (some bruising, fore-end with minor repair), engraved iron mounts including butt-cap, and trigger-guard with urn finial, and later horn-tipped ramrod, London proof marks
