With twist sighted barrels (one rebrowned) signed in gold, case-hardened patent breeches each with gold lines and gold-lined touch-hole, finely engraved case-hardened tangs, signed case-hardened detented bevelled locks each with roller, blued safety-catch also locking the steel, and gold-lined semi-rainproof pan, figured walnut half-stocks without fore-end cap, chequered butts apart from a plain strip on each side, finely engraved blued iron trigger-guards each with pineapple finial, blued set triggers, silver escutcheons, original horn-tipped ramrods without rear pipe, and much original finish: in original lined and fitted mahogany case with accessories including three-way flask covered in mottled leather, the corners with reinforcing plates, the lid with recessed carrying handle, London proof marks
