Decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt over a clear crackled glaze with four shaped panels of men escorting beauties, the surrounding space painted with snowy landscapes bordered by formal gilt scroll and a band of chrysanthemum heads, the area above the foot decorated with brocade lappets and a band of gilt florets on a black ground, the interior painted with a scene of the pleasure quarters bordered by fan-shaped reserves of floral patterns below scrolling flowers
