A Punch'ong Inlaid Bowl
Choson Period (15th-16th Century)
Circular, on a raised, splayed foot, inlaid on the interior in white slip with a wide band of netting below a narrow band of arching leaves and above a central medallion of seven chrysanthemum florets moulded in high relief and applied with white slip, and surrounded by five slender concentric rings, the bowl also brushed over half of the exterior with a wide swathe of white slip and applied overall with a green-tinged glaze with glossy finish which ends at the foot rim
