Oblong, with convex sides, with three engine-turned panels, and hinged covers, the central panel with rose-diamond monogram OM and graduated thumbpiece, with mirrored interior, the outer panels with rose-diamond rosettes and pushpieces, the ends of polished rock-crystal, the panels divided by chased and engraved laurel and rosette borders, one end containing a gold-mounted powder-puff, on suspension chain set at intervals with rock-crystal beads with rose-diamond-set mounts and finger-ring, apparently unmarked
