The Royal arms, differenced with a lable are for H.R.H. Prince Adolphus Frederick, 1st Duke of Cambridge, K.G., P.C., G.C.B., (1774-1850), the 7th son of George III. From 1817 until 1837 he was Viceroy of Hanover.
The Royal initials are (clockwise from the top) for Caroline Regent, H.S.H. Princess Caroline (1768-1821), wife of The Prince Regent, later King George IV
