INDENTCaptain Robert Deacon De Quincy Child, born 1877, entered the West India Regiment, 1900, Lieutenant 1902; transferred to the East Kent Regiment and retired, 1910; shown as Captain, 3rd Battalion East Kents, 5th August, 1914 and is given in the 1st Battalion War Diary as wounded, 25th October; took command of 'B' Company, 6th Battalion, 19th June, 1916 and was wounded at Ovillers on the Somme, 3rd July; retired 1916

Captain L. M. Nash, 7th Battalion, was wounded during the attack on the heights of Chunuk Bair, Gallipoli, 7th August, 1915; the Battalion commenced the attack with over 1,800 men and at the conclusion was left with about 181

Second Lieutenant Charles Frederick Fearn, 4th Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, attached 2nd Battalion Royal Munster Fusiliers, was killed in action in France 4th July, 1917
