Four fauteuils of this model, but presumably mid-eighteenth century, are at Versailles. They were formerly on view in the Bibliothèque du Dauphin and are illustrated in situ in G. van der Kemp, Versailles, 1978, p.144. They will shortly be displayed in another part of the château.
