The frosted silver dial signed and numbered A. LANGE & SOHNE. GLASHUTTE. B/DRESDEN 600, Roman hour numerals, gold hour and minute hands, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials with blued steel hands, reversed fusee, Earnshaw escapement, Guillaume's integral cut bimetallic balance the cross-arm inscribed within a triangle R(?) G.G., with blued steel helical balance spring, spring foot detent with jewelled locking stone, brass bowl, gimballed in plain three-tier mahogany box, the centre section with rectangular metal plaque inscribed A. LANGE & SOHNE 600 GLASHUTTE B/DRESDEN, and again within the top lid on a similar metal plaque, external brass drop handles 97 mm. dial diam., 187 mm. sq. box
