These are early copies after Urs Graf's white line woodcuts of the Flags of the Swiss Cantons. The present drawings represent the Canton of Lucerne (H. 39) and the Canton of Berne (H. 30). They are from a series of eight drawings originally in the Albertina which were made over at the end of the Habsburg Empire to the Archduke Friedrich who sold them.
