INDENTCaptain Jeffery Wheelock Noble, son of Vice Admiral J. Noble, entered the Royal Navy 1816; passed his examination 1824 and served as Mate in the Frigate H.M.S. Boadicea during the Burmese war; was confirmed Lieutenant October, 1826; Commander 1841; was awarded the Greek Order of the Redeemer on the occasion of the inauguration of the new Greek constitution, 1844; Captain 1846 (See lots 46 and 117 for other family medals )
