the case surmounted by the figure of the winged Apollo, fuelling an oil lamp from a ewer held in his left hand, and holding an arrow in his right, a pomegranate on a bed of flowers to his side, his quiver and lyre flanking the case, the white enamel Roman and Arabic dial with blued-steel pointers, the rectangular plinth applied with human mask mount and flanked by further foliate motif cast mounts above a stiff-leaf cast gallery on engine milled feet, the twin train movement with countwheel strike on a bell, with pendulum, key, associated glass dome (cracked), and a wood plinth
