Cf R. Rückert: Meissener Porzellan, fig. 482, for a similar piece from this large service given by Augustus III to Elizabeth I of Russia in 1744. Some 440 pieces of the service are listed in an inventory, dated 5 November 1745, of certain properties belonging to the Imperial houshold of St. Petersburg.
