A MEISSEN GROUP OF CHILDREN AND PUTTI STANDING AND SEATED ON ROCKWORK, painted outside the factory and wearing striped and flowered rustic dress, formed as a boy and girl with a hat filled with flowers and playing the lute, standing surrounded by a boy holding a fiddle, a bow and a bottle of wine, by a girl holding a beaker to receive the wine, and by three putti with a goat and a dove, on a rocky base applied with flowers and moulded with white and gilt scrolls (some restoration and damage to arms and to extremities, base with numerous cracks), cancelled blue crossed swords mark, incised C. 59, 1860-1880
