A PAIR OF BERLIN CIRCULAR PLATES, painted with views of The Forum, within brown line rims, the sheet metal frames stamped with circular medallions enclosing profile portraits of Renaissance dignitaries and armorials divided by caryatids, satyr-masks and scrolls, the rims cast with bands of gadroons (one plate with minor rim chip), blue sceptre mark and iron-red KPM and globe marks, pierced for suspension, circa 1860
