Schramsberg "Cuvee X" Brut--Vintage 1987
This new cuvée is intended to be the first serious American effort to stand upto the tête de cuvées of Champagne. All the experience and effort of Jack Davies and his team have been put into this and they believe the result to be outstanding.
The first case, offered as a "future", raised $12,000 at the Napa Valley charity wine auction conducted by Michael Broadbent in 1990.
The buyer of this lot will be presented with the three bottles at the new cuvée's world introductory launch in London on 7 October 1992
