A PAIR OF PERCUSSION TARGET PISTOLS with polygroove rifled browned twist octagonal sighted barrels struck with Liège proof mark and numbered '1' and '2' on the breech, engraved tangs each with adjustable back-sight, signed scroll engraved locks, figured walnut half-stocks, fluted butts, fore-ends each with a scallop shell in relief, scroll engraved case-hardened iron mounts, set triggers, one with applied bar finger support, and much original finish, the escutcheons silvered and gilt with the arms of Salm, by Adam Rosen in Dyck, circa 1850
