A FINE AND RARE FLEMISH THREE-BARREL FLINTLOCK GARNITURE comprising a pair of pistols and a fowling-piece, each with signed hand-rotated barrels arranged in clover-leaf formation, the barrels stamped on the breech with three brass-filled barrelsmith's marks (Neue Støckel 4372), revolving within an engraved iron sleeve at the breech, and released by a lever in front of the trigger-guards, signed and engraved bevelled back-action locks (one retaining screw missing), moulded figured walnut butts, brass mounts chiselled with foliage, portrait busts, birds and monster-heads in low relief, pierced side-plates and escutcheons, the latter each surmounted by a coronet, and engraved trigger-guards, each with foliate finial, one pistol retaining its original ramrod (one pistol butt wormed), by Philippe de Selier, Liège, circa 1720
