containing juz XXVII and a part of juz XXVIII (ch.lviii, v.1 to part of v.4), manuscript on cream paper, 21ff., 9ll., the first, middle and last lines in flowing blue thuluth outlined in gold on a red cross-hatched ground, the central narrower panels each with 3ll. gold thuluth outlined in black, illuminated discs between verses, the panels to each side with red cross-hatched ground, marginal medallions indicating each quarter division of the juz in illuminated tree-of-life design, sura headings in gold on hatched cartouches within illuminated panels (margins repaired where wormed and frayed at edges, some holes to text, a few textual lines restored), opening and final double-pages finely illuminated, later red morocco binding stamped with some gilt
text 7¾ x 5¼in. (19.7 x 13.3cm.)
