manuscript on pale buff paper, 50ff. plus four flyleaves, each with approximately 93ll. fine black naskh written diagonally, forming a recatngular panel with central medallion with trefoil pendants enclosed within flowering coloured leafy tendrils, the medallion with central roundel containing one of the names of God in gold thuluth outlined in black, black margin with inner black rule, sura headings and verse counts in red integrated into the text, (very slight staining and creasing), opening folio with medallions formed of scrolling leafy tendrils around the text in circular panel, the colophon within a similar gold and flowering medallion panel signed by Muhammad Nuri al-Siwasi and dated Ramadhan 1291, modern brown morocco binding with stamped medallion and border
