A LARGE MAMLUK REVIVAL GOLD, SILVER AND COPPER INLAID BRASS CIRCULAR TRAY with small raised and everted flat rim, the centre with panels of silver and copper arabesques and trefoils around a large square panel delineated by a broad band of thuluth inscriptions with interlace roundels at the corners, the central panel with arabesque and trefoil panels and shaped interlace diaper panels with inscription medallions around a cupsed roundel with a circular kufic inscription flanking a central interlace roundel, the border and rim with cartouches of continuous knotted motifs and inscription, the lip with alternating silver and copper leaf motifs, late 19th century (minute amounts of inlay missing)
