A FINE LARGE IZNIK POTTERY JUG with rounded body, flaring mouth and loop handle on short foot, the rich blue ground of the body with white pomegranite motifs filled with red dotted motifs alternating with white paired saz leaves also similarly filled, a few small cintamani motifs above, the neck with a band of similar decoration, the handle with horizontal blue hatching, circa 1570 (mouth with two areas of restoration, foot with minor make-up)
