It is not clear to what Verdi refers but it would seem to be some plans about which he had already written to Erminia Frezzolini (1818-1884). She was a soprano who had sung the leading soprano rôles in the premieres of I Lombardi and Giovanna d'Arco. Her repertory also included Ernani, Rigoletto, Trovatore and Traviata. Her interpretations contributed to Verdi's success in Paris. Possibly the project Verdi writes about was the casting of a new production.

Apparently unpublished.
