A POLISH FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOL with two-stage sighted barrel, fluted octagonal then polygonal, and stamped 'Lazarino Cominazo' on the top of the breech, signed bevelled lock engraved with two duellists, and with foliage and a monster's head on the stepped tail, faceted semi-rainproof pan, moulded walnut full stock (fore-end tip repaired), lightly engraved iron mounts including spurred pommel and earlier pierced serpentine side-plate, the escutcheon in the form of a grotesque mask, and associated wooden ramrod, signed Albert Heinrich, Breslau, circa 1720-30
