DESIGNED BY HECTOR GUIMARD FOR THE DINING ROOM AT THE MAISON COILLIOT, CIRCA 1898/1900

Guimard was engaged in the commissions for both the Maison Coilliot at Lille and the Castel Henriette at Sèvres between 1898 and 1900; chairs of virtually identical design to the present example for Maison Coillot were also incorporated in Guimard's interiors at the Castel Henriette (reproduced right).
