ANOTHER, for cartidges with annular ignition, the browned twist sighted barrels engraved and gilt with stylised foliage at the muzzles and breeches, back-actions locks signed in gold within a gold scroll, artificially figured butt, cheek-piece carved with a flowerhead, and engraved silver escutcheon gilt against a blued ground with the crowned arms of Salm within mantling, the fore-end, locks and mounts retaining their original case-hardened finish and engraved en suite with the previous lot but within gilt borders, hook-on sling loops, and much of its original finish, by Adam Rosen in Dyck, Liège proof mark, circa 1855
