A Pesaro rococo scroll-moulded two-handled soup tureen and cover
Circa 1765
Painted en camaieu verte with loose bouquets and flower-sprays within moulded turquoise scroll cartouches and feuilles-de-choux rims, the base with foliage scroll handles and feet, the domed cover with entwined pear stock and fruit finial, the interior of the cover with a bust-length portrait sketch of a woman to the right and another head surrounded by loose drapery (slight chips and glaze flaking to two feet, two minor chips to foliage on one side, slight chip to flange and rim of cover, very slight chipping to finial and part of branch lacking)
