The breech impressed with the Bavarian arsenal (Amberg) mark, the receiver marked 'I.C. Mod. 71/84' in gothic script and dated '1888', all parts and components correctly numbered with the serial number or its abbreviation, the barrel and receiver impressed with inspector's marks and the fine unblemished three-band full-stock with cyphers and further inspector's marks, the heel of the butt-plate marked with the unit marks 'B.12.R.E.1.210.', with full original blued finish, the bolt and receiver finished 'in the white', the barrel with folding backsight and blade-foresight with sprung protector
