AN ILKHANID LUSTRE BOWL of deep rounded form on short foot, the exterior with moulded ribs, the interior painted in light brown lustre with a variety of bold floral sprays around the figure of a large ungainly animal above a pond containing fish, in a border of interlaced feathery leaves between minor geometric motif stripes, the exterior with wheat-ear motifs rising along each arched rib, the spandrels with scrolling motifs, 14th century (repaired, small areas of restoration)
