INDENTCorporal W.E.Wyse M.M. enlisted in The King's Liverpool Regiment early in 1915 and left Blackpool for France with the 1st Bn. 3 September of that year. He was awarded the M.M. for his part in the raid on 'Kaiser Bill Salient' 29 November 1916 when he volunteered for a 'Special Fatigue Party' as the raid was referred to. Corporal Wyse was N.C.O. in charge of the No. 9 Left Bombing Party (Refer to the Bn. History where a whole chapter is devoted to this operation).
