INDENT Second Lieutenant Samuel Frank Clarke served as a Corporal with the 26th Field Ambulance, 1914 and was commissioned in the Hampshire Regiment, November 1916. He was killed in action Passchendaele, 7 August 1917 and was buried in Vlamentinghe New Military Cemetery (Loyd's Bank Memorial Book refers)
