INDENT Second Lieutenant John Vanstone Spearman served in France as Private, 6th Gloucestershire Regiment, early in 1915; was killed in action in the trenches near Le Brique, 25 August 1915 - only three days after joining the 1st K.S.L.I. and was buried in Le Brique Military Cemetery, St Jean Le Ypres, Belgium
