A GENOESE GILTWOOD CANAPE, upholstered in white and gold silk damask, the waved serpentine moulded top-rail centred by a floral cartouche within a stylised C-scroll flanked by eared C-scrolls to the frame, the base of the frame similarly centred by a husk pendant beneath a C-scroll, the channelled padded arms terminated by a scroll, the waved seat-rail centred by a floral cartouche, on acanthus-enriched stop-reeded cabriole legs adorned with floral sprays, mid-19th Century, with remains of old label, repairs to both arms
