A KO-WAKIZASHI with fine fittings, the blade hirazukuri and iorimune with very strong sori, itame hada and hitatsura yakiire of nioi, ubu nakago with five mekugi-ana, three double, inscribed Soshu ju nin Sadamune, probably 18th/19th century; in black lacquer scabbard decorated with swallows in flight, shibuichi kojiri, uragawara, kurikata and kozuka all depicting gourds, the last signed Harutoshi (Hamano school), the hilt in samegawa togidashi with shibuichi fuchi-kashira depicting Jurojin and his stag, signed Otsuryuken Miboku with shibuichi rivet heads depicting Hotei and a karako in iroe takazogan, and a brozne oval tsuba formed as a tiger signed Yanagawa ju (the artist's name omitted)
