4° (300 x 215mm.), collection of 45 hand-coloured aquatint plates of uniforms by Kolpakov, Paul and Levachez after Kiel (3 loosely inserted, 15 with the collection stamp of 'Depo Kart' [in Russian]), no title or text. Contemporary green Russian half morocco, spine gilt (slightly rubbed). Bookplate of Alexandre Sementchenkoff.
Rovinskii Gravery 478-484 lists a total of 73 plates for this series; present here are nos. 1, 4 (loose), 14, 17, 19, 21, 25, 27, 30 (loose), 31, 34, 36, 39-43, 46-50, 52, 53 (loose), 54-63, 66, 67, 69-73, and two plates before letters, possibly nos. 8 and 13, and one unlisted entitled 'Officier Subalterne des Cossaques du Don' by Levachez.
