This collection was acquired during the 1890s, since when it has passed by inheritance and gift to the present owner.
A BOEOTIAN BLACK-GLAZED POTTERY KANTHAROS, the deep bowl with high twin loop handles, repaired; another, the bowl with traces of ivy-leaf tendril decoration, damaged, 500-450 B.C., 6½in. (16.5cm.) and 7½in. (18.7cm.) high respectively; and a group of five Nineteenth Century terracottas including a large 'Tanagra' style figure of a woman wearing chiton and himation, 11in. (28cm.) high, a woman seated on a rock, tightly wrapped in her himation which covers her head, 7 5/8in. (19.3cm.) high and a flask modelled as an owl, 5 1/8in. (13cm.) high, all after the antique (7)
