Inlaid overall with boxwood and ebony chequer-banding, the breakfront cornice above a conforming frieze and a pair of arched, panelled doors, flanked by fluted pilasters and enclosing two adjustable shelves and six small drawers, two candle-slides and ten pigeon-holes, above a writing-slope enclosing a fitted interior with a central door flanked on each side by a fluted pilaster-fronted drawer, three small drawers and three pigeon-holes, above three short drawers and three long graduated drawers, on later bun feet, two of the top short drawers previously fitted, the sides of the top and bottom sections also inlaid with boxwood and ebony chequer-banding, restorations, one lock stamped 'SECURE LEVER LOCK'
