Lot Essay

Elector Frederick-Augustus III (1750-1827), called the Just, son of Prince Frederick-Christian of Saxony and his wife Princess Maria-Antonia of Bavaria, Elector of Saxony, became the first King of Saxony in 1806. In 1769, he married Princess Amalia of Zweibrücken.
