AN INDO-PERSIAN DOUBLE-AXE with crescentic blades each with convex edge chiselled on either side with a panel of Persian script, decorated with gold-damascened borders, and surmounted by a spike on a pierced base damascened in silver, on shortened associated tubular steel haft decorated en suite; an Indian axe with downcurved blade damascened in silver on one side with a stag hunting scene, and on the other with two elephants; an Indo-Persian forked spear with waved blades, gold-damascened base chiselled on either side with foliage in low relief, on silver-damascened faceted socket; a katar, the blade chiselled with figures, mounted on silver-damascened steel haft; a zaghnal; a bhuj, the base of the blade cast in bronze as an elephant's head; an ankus, the finial cast in bronze as a monster, and with silver-damascened decoration; and two spear heads each of watered steel, 19th Century or later
