the wisdomof 'Ali with their versified translation in Persian, Arabic manuscript on dark buff paper, 16ff. plus seven flyleaves, each with three lines of large alternately blue and gold Arabic naskh interspersed with small lines of black Persian nasta'liq, the Persian on gold sprinkled paper with the ends of the lines illuminated in gold and light or dark blue, red, orange, or yellow, with orange, blue and gold margins between black rules, red and blue outer rules, blue outer margin, (slight creasing and rubbing, some repairs, ink stain to upper folio edge), opening bifolio illuminated predominately in blue and gold (some worming and rubbing), later red morocco binding with associated black morocco border (worn)
