oil on tin, the lady stands turned away but facing the viewer, wearing a dangerously low-cut European style red dress and opulent diamond and pearl jewellery, a bird perched on her left hand, a wlnut in her right, a red scarf and further jewels are tied round her head, blue ground, (some flaking and discolouration of the varnish), framed and glazed
