A FINE COPY WITH WIDE MARGINS AND OF THE GREATEST RARITY. Described by Hunt as 'a magnificent eighteenth century monograph on the Dogwoods, with three fine plates by Redouté'. Pritzel notes that only very few copies were published on vellum, coloured and in large format. Van Praet, Vélins du roi III 61.78 lists only 3 copies on vellum, one in the Bibliotheque Nationale.
