PERCUSSION SHOTGUN with rebrowned twist barrels signed in gold on the rib, numbered 2, and inlaid with two gold lines, case-hardened breeches engraved with scrolls and gamebirds, long shaped tang numbered 2 in gold, engraved with strapwork, foliage and a pointer and incorporating a vacant silver escutcheon, signed shaped back-action locks engraved with interlaced foliage and a duck and fox on one, and a duck and pointer on the other, each within a landscape, engraved reblued hammers, figured walnut half-stock, chequered grip, engraved iron mounts including reblued trigger-guard with pierced horn tang, raised cheek-piece, iron sling mounts, and later brass-mounted wooden ramrod, by Johann Springer vorm.
