PRINTED ON VELLUM. 94 leaves only (of 100, lacking π1, d5-8 and e8), gothic letter, 28 lines, 11 large metalcuts and 30 smaller cuts, ALL WITH CONTEMPORARY ILLUMINATION HEIGHTENED WITH GOLD, each page of text with printed historiated borders of feasts and allegories, one- and two-line initials heightened with gold on blue and red ground. (Gathering aa loose, some leaves slightly soiled.) 17th-century maroon morocco, gilt border of floral roll-tool on covers, spine gilt in compartments, g.e. (rubbed, joints weak).
