The case on three scroll feet applied with parcel-gilt shells screwed to a hinged cover set with the bell secured with four ormolu bell straps, the sides of the case decorated with shells and C-scrolls framing six windows, push repeat button to the side, silver thumb-piece to the convex-glazed ormolu bezel to the silver champlèvé dial with pierced brass hands and central revolving alarm disc, the gilt movement with six ormolu baluster pillars pinned to the backplate signed Joh: Joseph Weishaubt, Carlsbad 5042, verge escapement with pierced and engraved bridgecock with silvered regulation sector with blued steel poker index hand, chain fusee for the going and going barrels for the alarm and repeat
