A fine early edition of the first bibliography to be compiled as a practical work of reference. Johann Tritheim, abbot of Spanheim lists 982 authors with short biographical notes on each, and circa 7000 titles in chronological order. This edition, the fourth, is augmented by an appendix on 16th-century authors. Adams T-966.
