Perhaps the longest lasting and most successful manaufacturer of Anglo-American high performers has been Jensen of West Bromwich, England. Starting as coachbuilders, the Jensen brothers went on to make complete cars following the formula adopted by Railton and others, using large unstressed American engines allied with European standards of handling and braking. In the case of Jensen, styling and coachwork were of high quality and worked particularly well on the fastback interceptors which arrived in 1967.

This particular Mark III with the large Chrysler engine was driven into the workshop three years ago. It is being offered partially restored and just prior to the auction a full body restoration (with photographic documentation) will have been completed and the car will have had a bare metal respray to the original colour. The interior and exterior trim along with the engine auxiliaries will be boxed with the car leaving the new owner with the choice of full re-assembly of the original components or refurbishment of the same depending upon their preference.
