A NORTH GERMAN MAHOGANY BUREAU-CABINET, the shaped cornice with two urn finials above a pair of glazed doors enclosing a fitted interior with three serpentine-fronted shelves and later green silk- lining, between fluted chamfered angles with ribbon-tied foliate swags, the lower section with a fall-front with green leather-lined writing- surface, six drawers and seven variously-sized arched pigeon-holes, between canted angles with stylised panelling and central lozenge, the three shaped drawers between canted angles and stylised foliate- carved capitals, on moulded plinth and bun feet, late 18th Century
