ink heightened with colour on cream paper, the large rose spray supporting two miniature birds, with a moth, a butterfly, a beetle and two ladybirds, a flag iris and white flowering plant below, with various poetic Persian inscriptions in black shikasteh, black margin, (some creasing, slight rubbing, small fragment missing from side), mounted on coloured leaves, colophon in black signed 'the work of the Sultan's court, Kabul' by Tarzi Afghani and dated 25 Jumada I 1286
